A question how copper range hoods are made pops up regularly when we are discussing with our clients custom work. In general, all Rustica House copper range hoods are made of wrought iron base covered with hammered or smooth metal. It can be copper, zinc or iron as well as tin. It means there are two departments involved in the production process. First it is an ironwork and then metal finishing. Since we can do with the iron pretty much any shape, there is no limit on styles and sizes. Applying metal sheeting on the iron structure is just a matter of finishing. It is shown on both images added to this blog post.
